SOLO SHOW WORKSHOP
This is a workshop for any actor/comedian/playwright who has ever dreamed of creating a one-person show. There may only be thirty-six dramatic situations - but there is an infinite number of ways to tell a story. It's all in the details. In this workshop you will find the most dramatic and unique manner to tell your story.
PARTICIPANTS WILL:
1. Examine Goals. Why develop a solo show? To showcase your acting? Or do you have a story inside you that is screaming to be told? Your goals will inform the approach to this project.
2. Use improvisation, role playing, writing prompts to explore your story.
3. Experiment with and study various storytelling styles.
4. Examine your premise, find your arc. Fine tune!
Classes resume in mid October. I also offer private coaching.
